
The Universal Design Incubator is seeking for the best student projects that incorporate usable solutions for everyone. Conditions:
- The solution suits everyone, including persons with disabilities.
- The principles of universal design have been taken into account early in the planning process.

THE PURPOSE
The wider aim of Estonian Universal Design Incubator 2018/2019 is to raise awareness amongst the public about universal design and the implementation of its principles. The aim of the competition is to encourage students to develop projects that work for all target groups of the society, including for persons with disabilities.
INDEPENDENCE 3.0
The theme of this years’ competition is Independence 3.0, that explores the possibilities to empower everyone, regardless of their abilities and needs, in independent coping. The matron of the competition is the Estonian Minister of Social Protection Kaia Iva.

CONFERENCE & WORKSHOP 14—15.09
During the Conference and Workshop, we open up this years theme “Independence 3.0”. Also we offer through experience workshop a chance to meet people from various user groups and experience different ways of percieving environments, services and products. These events could be an input for setting up possible topics and ideas for further study for the competition.
